Texas Baptists Indemnity Program (TBIP) is an insurance solution shaped by the values and needs of Texas Baptists ministries.

TBIP is operated by Texas Baptists Insurance Company, Inc., a not-for-profit captive insurance company formed under Texas law and fully regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance. The program is governed by a board appointed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) and is exclusively available to ministries affiliated with BGCT and contracted with Texas Baptists Risk Management (TBRM) as their Risk Manager.

Through TBIP, ministries can access cost-effective, faith-based insurance solutions—including property, liability, auto, workers’ compensation and specialized ministry protections—designed to support and sustain their work.
